What is SPP for a Canadian study visa?

If you have always wanted to join a Canadian college, then you should be aware of the SPP program. When applying, however, you have the freedom to apply through the program or not, but there are of course advantages of applying under the SPP. The major difference between SPP programs and non-SPP applications is basically the number of documents that will be required for your study visa to be processed.
SPP (The Student Partners Program)
SPP (The Student Partners Program) was developed in partnership with the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC) and the Citizenship and Canada Immigration. It is an arrangement between selected Canadian educational institutions and Canadian High Commission in India to provide quick and easy study visa for the prospective students of participating institutions for study in Canada.
The main objective of this program is to increase the number of Canadian student visa issued to students and to make the admissions-visa process more efficient.
General (Non-SPP)
You have to option of applying for non-SPP visa application, where required documents and visa process will be different as more detailed documents are required. The reason behind this is to solidly prove financial stability and the source of income. You can apply to colleges participating in SPP program through the non-SPP application.
The main difference between SPP and non-SPP application is the requirement of more detailed proof of funds. Under non-SPP application, Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) is not compulsory. Savings in the bank, other investments, and education loan are all considered part of financial funds.
If you are interested in a study or job in Canada, it is important that you start by weighing your options and choosing a good direction. The SPP is one of the best programs you can use for the process.
